one" I am writing to you to express my sincerest thanks for welcoming me into
your studio nine months ago. Karate has changed my life in more ways than one. At first I was not sure if I would ever progress,
but after training with you my body feels stronger, my stamina has increased, and I feel more confident about myself. After
having two babies and being away from exercise for about six years I was very hesitant to start a rigorous program in karate.
After one month of training I began to crave the workout and look forward to the new skills I learned every week. At times I come home from work tired, depressed, or not feeling well. I then have children of my
own to take care of. I go to class anyway, even with my husband in the background saying "Are you sure you have the energy
to go to karate tonight?" When I leave class I feel strong, healthy, and more energized than ever. Whatever may have
been ailing me is usually gone, and I even have more strength to devote time to my kids. I am truly grateful for this experience

Teaches
Self-Defense: Philly Karate teaches two forms
of self-defense. One is physical – you will improve your strength, flexibility, and overall health. Additionally, you
will learn to strike with tremendous power and effectiveness. Hopefully, you will never need to fight. . .but should the occasion
arise, shouldn't everyone know how to protect themselves? The second form of self-defense Karate Lessons at Philly Karate
is internal. Our students learn to spot danger and avoid dangerous people, places and activities. Philly Karate can help
you avoid the need for a physical confrontation. This second form of self-defense is perhaps the most valuable of the two.
